The GOODYEAR VECTOR 4SEASONS GEN-2 are tires allseason suitable for vehicles that carry tires with size 155/65 R14
The allseason tire ("All-Season/All-Weather") is made to be able to drive with a single set of tires all year round, thus avoiding the replacement of summer tires for winter tires. The advantage of these tires is undoubtedly the versatility, or the ability to offer good performance, both at mild temperatures and at winter temperatures, while furthermore eliminating the disadvantages that result from the use of a winter tire in the summer period (road handling reduction and increased wear).
The American Charles Goodyear started processing rubber and manufacturing many products mainly made of rubber, like shoes among other things. He was not able to control the quality, but he continued to experiment until he invented the vulcanized rubber by adding sulfur and other substances. That was much more durable, workable and stable. Many additions were tried before he could finally find out the perfect process to vulcanize the rubber. Brit Thomas Hancock understood and copied Goodyear's process from some rubber samples and ... filed the patent application 8 weeks earlier. It came to a trial, which Goodyear lost. Charles Goodyear died in 1860 and was deeply in debt. So he never knew anything about the world famous car tire brand that would have been named after him.
In 1898 Frank Seiberling founded a tire factory and in homage to the unfortunate Charles Goodyear, he named his tire brand after the inventor of vulcanized rubber.
Meanwhile, the Goodyear group has grown considerably with more than 50 factories in 22 countries and sales have increased to € 17 billion. Goodyear employs approximately 65,000 people, making it the third tire manufacturer in the world.
In addition to car tires, SUV tires, van tires, bus tires and truck tires, Goodyear also specializes in aircraft and agricultural vehicle tires. It definitely may be that even the rubber under your shoes also comes from Goodyear, because Goodyear manufactures almost everything when it comes to rubber. Fire hoses, shoe soles, parts for printers and so on.
You may have ever seen the Goodyear Blimp fly! Goodyear uses a Zeppelin-like airship to advertise eye-catching advertisements.
Goodyear is strongly committed to research and development, which results in the development of performing HP and UHP tires, suitable for dry and wet surfaces, for all types of vehicles, from city cars to sports cars and everything in between. The tires in the EfficientGrip series have a special rubber compound that lowers rolling resistance and reduces fuel consumption.
These are the most famous Goodyear car tire models:
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2
Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance
Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric SUV

With regulation number 1222/2009, the European Union introduced the EU tire labeling, which is of binding and identical nature for all EU member states. This applies to tires for cars, light and heavy vans that were produced after 01.07.2012.
The tires are classified in the EU tire label based on three performance characteristics: fuel efficiency (rated with letters from A to G), grip on wet surfaces (rated with letters from A to G) and external noise emissions (decibels).
The following tire categories are exempted from the EU labeling requirement: coated tires, professional off-road tires, racing tires, tires equipped with integrated functions to improve traction, such as nail tires (spikes), T-type spare tires, special tires for mounting on vehicles registered before 1 October 1990, tires with a maximum permitted speed index of 80 km/h, tires with rims with a nominal diameter smaller than or equal to 254 mm or larger than or equal to 635 mm.
With this regulation, the EU wants to promote economic and environmental efficiency in road traffic and to increase road safety while also offering consumers more transparency with regard to the product, thus giving a concrete active decision-making tool.
Specialists discuss the fact that the EU tire label reflects only a small part of the product characteristics. The tires have many more features, important and relevant for safety, such as water slippage, taxi stability, service life, braking efficiency on dry and wet roads, behavior in winter conditions, etc.
Tire manufacturers draw attention to the fact that the results of the tests carried out by different institutions and specialized magazines are still a very important means of information for the end user. These normally prove not only the three product characteristics that are registered on the EU tire label, but also up to 11 other product characteristics that are relevant to safety.
