The NEXEN N BLUE HD PLUS are tires summer suitable for vehicles that carry tires with size 165/70 R14
As the name suggests, summer tires offer top performance in the summer months, mainly thanks to two main characteristics: the tread design and the compound.
The tread of these tires is characterized by special grooves whose purpose is to minimize the risk of "aquaplaning" or slippage of the tire on wet surfaces.
In terms of proportion, the composition of summer tires contains less natural rubber than the winter tire, which translates into a greater hardness of the tire, which can therefore be more resistant and perform better when exposed to higher temperatures.
From the many tests conducted it appears that the benefits guaranteed by these tires do not end and also include optimization of fuel consumption, less noise and easier braking space.
The tire manufacturer known today under the name NEXEN TIRE, which produces the Nexen and Roadstone brands, was founded in Korea in 1942 under the name Heung-A Tire Company. Then the company changed its name to Woosung Tire. At the beginning of the new century, even more, at the beginning of the new millennium, the marketing department thought it was a good idea to change the name. NEXT CENTURY became, with a little imagination NEXENTURY and the word neXen with large X in the middle indicates the intersection between 2 millennia.
NEXEN TIRE is committed to Korean perseverance and voluntarism, striving for absolute quality. Research and development are being carried out in the United States, Germany, China and the mother country of South Korea. This allows them to focus on the market needs in the continents where they realize their turnover. NEXEN TIRE can now call itself a major tire producer and they deliver tires of very good quality.
They are very competitive on the basis of the know-how and constantly improving technologies and the efficiency of the production units. In 135 countries cars are driving with Nexen tires.
The NEXEN TIRE management communicates very clearly with its staff and customers. “Our pursuit of perfection is not something we should be proud of. We must try to make our customers proud. We ourselves must work in modesty with passion, realizing that there is no end goal in the pursuit of perfection ”.

With regulation number 1222/2009, the European Union introduced the EU tire labeling, which is of binding and identical nature for all EU member states. This applies to tires for cars, light and heavy vans that were produced after 01.07.2012.
The tires are classified in the EU tire label based on three performance characteristics: fuel efficiency (rated with letters from A to G), grip on wet surfaces (rated with letters from A to G) and external noise emissions (decibels).
The following tire categories are exempted from the EU labeling requirement: coated tires, professional off-road tires, racing tires, tires equipped with integrated functions to improve traction, such as nail tires (spikes), T-type spare tires, special tires for mounting on vehicles registered before 1 October 1990, tires with a maximum permitted speed index of 80 km/h, tires with rims with a nominal diameter smaller than or equal to 254 mm or larger than or equal to 635 mm.
With this regulation, the EU wants to promote economic and environmental efficiency in road traffic and to increase road safety while also offering consumers more transparency with regard to the product, thus giving a concrete active decision-making tool.
Specialists discuss the fact that the EU tire label reflects only a small part of the product characteristics. The tires have many more features, important and relevant for safety, such as water slippage, taxi stability, service life, braking efficiency on dry and wet roads, behavior in winter conditions, etc.
Tire manufacturers draw attention to the fact that the results of the tests carried out by different institutions and specialized magazines are still a very important means of information for the end user. These normally prove not only the three product characteristics that are registered on the EU tire label, but also up to 11 other product characteristics that are relevant to safety.
